Kids

Mission

West Bradenton kids partners with parents to help kids learn and walk in the truth of the gospel of Jesus.

Our church campus reopens June 14 with families worshipping together. Check out kids.westb.org for home resources.

Your First Visit

The first stop you will make is the Kids’ Welcome Center located on the first floor in the south hallway. There we will register your child, direct you to your child’s classroom, and answer any questions you might have.  We look forward to meeting you!

Safety and Security

Your child’s safety is high priority to us. Here are just a few of the measures we take to protect West Bradenton Kids:

  • Each week, parents and kids print matching name tags. The parent’s tag is required to pick up the child so that children are returned to their appropriate adult.
  • All volunteers go through a background screening process.
  • All rooms have a minimum of two adults with other adults nearby.

Sunday Mornings

Children’s ministry for babies (6 weeks) through 5th grade is available every Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00.

Babies – 2’s: At both 9:30 and 11:00, our babies, toddlers, and 2 year olds experience Bible learning on their level, fun play time, and high quality care.

3’s and 4’s: Our preschoolers experience the Explore the Bible curriculum at 9:30 and 11:00 through interactive learning, fun art, games, music and play.

Kindergarten – 5th Grade:  Elementary kids meet at 9:30 or 11 to dive deep into the same scripture/topic that Pastor Sam preaches on in the sanctuary.

Kids Quest

Kids' Quest  Wednesdays , 6:15-7:45pm

Age 3 (as of 9/1/20) - 5th Grade

Intentional and fun kids' discipleship! Each night focuses on Scripture memory through fun activities, teaching, games, and more. Kids work towards exciting incentives while hiding God's Word deep in their hearts.

During the school year, kids will complete 7 quests.  In each quest, kids will learn verses focused on an attribute of God, who kids are in Christ, how they should live, and a spiritual discipline.

Treat Street Fall Fest

Saturday, October 31 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Located at West Bradenton Baptist (43rd Street parking lot)

To host a trunk or for more information contact brandi@westbradenton.org.  Gather your family, friends or life group to host a decorated trunk (no scary decorations please).  We will provide the candy!

Our plan for a fun, safe evening:

  • This is a socially distanced, walk-thru event

  • Trunks will be located every other parking space (at least 6 ft apart).

  • Only one family will be in front of a trunk at a time.

  • Volunteers passing out candy will be wearing gloves.

  • Markings on the sidewalk to ensure families are practicing social distancing.

  • Lots of candy for every kid!

Join us for this safe alternative to trick-or-treating!
