Finally! The nativity scene is now more complete. Jesus is born!

God's promised Messiah has been born but not in a way that people expected. What are some things that make Jesus' birth different?

He was the king of the universe, but He was laid in a manger where animals eat. He didn't come to a palace or a fancy house or a hospital. There wasn't even any room for them in the inns in Bethlehem. They weren't surrounded by queens and princesses and fancy people. They were surrounded by animals. There weren't newspaper reporters and tv cameras or a big announcement in town.

The Savior of the world was born and just about no one knew it. Jesus came as a human, just like us so that He could save us from our sins and make a way for us to go to heaven. What an amazing night that was!

Sing this song together as a family.

Pray:  Pray and thank God for sending Jesus in the manger. Thank Him that Jesus came as a person to make a way for us to go to heaven.
