Jesus didn't stay a baby in a manger forever. He grew up. Watch the video below to see some of the things Jesus did after He grew up and began His ministry.

Christmas celebrates Jesus' birth and Easter celebrates when He died and rose from the dead. But a whole lot happened in between. John 21:25 says that there aren't enough books in all the world to contain the stories of all that Jesus did. What we do know from Scripture is that:

 1. Jesus never did anything wrong. Remember, he was fully human. He had all the same bad things around Him and temptations that we do. But He never sinned. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

2.  Jesus taught people about who God is and how God wants them to live. Most of all He loved people a whole lot.

3.  Jesus did many miracles which were amazing things that only God could do.

4.  Lots of people loved Jesus and followed Him. But there were also people who did not like Him.

Just like His birth was amazing, Jesus' whole life was amazing. He is our perfect example. As we learn more about who He is, we can learn how He wants us to live.

Do: Pick a story from Jesus' life to act out as a family. Some examples would be feeding of the 5000, walking on water, calming the storm, or raising Lazarus. There are many possibilities. After acting out, talk about what that story teaches us about who Jesus is.

Pray: Do a popcorn prayer. Everyone says a short prayer in no kind of order. Say, "Jesus, you are ___________. Help me be ____________."
